What Is Microblading?

Microblading is semi-permanent pigment that's pushed into the surface of the skin with a small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles to mimic the growth of your already existing hair and create bolder, natural-looking brows. Together we design a brow which is totally bespoke to you – your colour will be mixed from the highest quality pigments just for you. You can hardly believe it's not real hair.

Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hair-stroke is created by hand producing a thin, natural looking line that blends in with existing eyebrow hair, whereas, with eyebrow tattoos it is still done with a machine and needle often producing thicker, less natural lines that tend to expand over time. Each microblading stroke is applied individually, allowing the artist to control the shape, colour and density of the completed eyebrows.

Some clients feel stronger pain during the treatment to other clients who compare such pain with the one that they feel when plucking out eyebrows. To keep discomfort to a minimum, the client may have a liquid anaesthetic applied to the brows after the first layer the procedure as doing so before may warp the shape of the eyebrows. Please note that you will be more sensitive to pain during your menstrual cycle so keep that in mind before booking an appointment!

The entire process takes around 2 hours which includes a consultation, patch test (if required), reading and signing of a consent form, drawing the shape, plucking/trimming and the actual treatment itself.

Why Microblading?

The new semi-permanent make-up technology gives you the natural look that every woman yearns for. You save a great deal of time without having to re-draw your eyebrows every day, and still looking good 24/7. Spare the hassle of pencilling, tinting and brow make-up and waste no time on making that perfect arch.

This procedure can be used to thicken, and/or darken your existing eyebrows but because of the highly realistic nature of the hair strokes it is also ideal for clients with little or no real eyebrow hair. Microblading can also be used to replace brows lost due to chemotherapy, alopecia, and other medical conditions.

The Microblading procedure can completely change the structure and appearance of your face. Well-shaped eyebrows have been proven to refine the shape of the face, open and lift the eyes and give a fresher, more youthful appearance overall.

Many people say their lives have been changed by the confidence their new brows give them. Not to mention the time saved struggling with brow products each morning!
